Shivkumar Sharma, Hariprasad Chaurasia and Brijbushan Kabra - Call Of The Valley (EMI India, 1968)

Call Of The Valley is performed by a unique ensemble that features guitar, bamboo flute and santoor. The santoor is an ancient, trapezoid-shaped dulcimer that has over one hundred strings and is played with wooden tongs. Brijbushan Kabra, who studied under sarod master Ali Akbar Khan, plays a modified, Hawaiian style electric guitar. I've attached an image of the back cover where you can read along with the story being told through the music.
